Are you looking to train as an ADI?
If you are considering a career change and looking at training to become an ADI we would be happy to assist you on this journey. This rewarding career path offers flexible working hours as you control your own diary, a great deal of job satisfaction and the opportunity to work in your local area while earning a very generous income.
In order to qualify as an approved driving instructor (ADI) you will need to have been driving as a qualified driver for 3 years or more and pass the DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) qualifying examination which is split into three parts.
- Part 1 is a multiple choice theory and hazard perception test similar to the test for learner drivers but to a higher standard.
- Part 2 is a driving test, this is similar to the test for learner drivers but to a higher standard.
- Part 3 is a practical test of your ability to instruct – A DVSA examiner will watch you give a client centred lesson lasting about an hour to one of your pupils.
